Our latest video on YouTube, taking a look at a derelict chapel in Norfolk, has nudged our overall view count to half a million! We’ve spent the past few years really focusing on our video content which has also seen us pass 3,000 subscribers. Our recent videos cover a broad range of topics from the kit that we use for exploring to taking a look at what remains at the former Runwell Hospital site and even exploring the Secrets of Chafford Gorges.
We were also fortunate enough to meet up with Mudlarker Nicola White, something that we had been planning before Covid hit. We went exploring the mudflats around Hadleigh, near the former Salvation Army jetty, and discovered a few interesting pieces!
Our most popular video is our documentary on The Abandoned Mansions of Billionaire’s Row which has almost 85,000 views alone, closely followed by our interview and guitar lesson with Wilko Johnson which we filmed some eight years ago, and is fair to say isn’t up to our current standards.
Aside from people watching our videos on their phones and iPads, we’ve also sold some of our footage to documentary productions. Our most recent sale has been our footage from the now demolished Bullwood Hall Prison, which will appear in ‘Murder in a Million’ which will be released worldwide on Discovery+ on November 20th.
We have lots of exciting video content still to come including a few videos which we filmed in Norfolk across 3 days, a special six-part series taking a look at Wales’ industrial remains and a feature video on the atomic weapon testing site, Orford Ness – so make sure that you’re subscribed to our channel to see our upcoming content.
