Beyond the Point is proud to announce the release of our Canvey Island DVD – A Comprehensive Documentary. 

“Canvey, our little Thames town” is probably going to be the most iconic BTP words that you’ll ever hear! The 60 minute (approx) DVD has been filmed in Full High Definition and features exclusive interviews with members of the local community. Covering every aspect of Canvey’s fascinating history, the DVD starts with the Roman invasion of Britain and concludes with the future of the island. Filming locations include the Occidental jetty, St. Katherines Church, the Dutch Cottage and even the Lobstersmack! After months of filming and weeks of editing, it is finally complete. The cost of this DVD is just £4.99!  Titled “Canvey Island – A comprehensive documentary” this documentary features information, interviews and images from Canvey Island throughout the ages! We haven’t done any BTP visits over the past couple of months as we’ve been out every weekend filming this over the entire island and after hours of filming and editing it is finally ready! Beyond the Point is a non-profit organisation and continues to remain so. The money raised from the selling of our items goes towards the cost of producing it (DVD cases, disks and covers e.t.c) and back into maintaining BTP such as funding the website, forum e.t.c
