This map acts as an interactive visual ‘directory’ to places of historical interest and remains as featured on http://www.beyondthepoint.co.uk, inluding a brief description, image, and link to either the relevant page on either Beyond the Point, Canvey Community Archive, or BTP TV.

    This place is a lot of fun to visit. In Stanford le Hope down by the river. Old chemical factory, very dangerous but worth the risk

      Thanks, looks great. I’ve spotted it on the map – would you be able to suggest a route in? Is it one of the places you can bumble in or do you need to be more sneaky? Also if we are just waking about the place then are we safe?
